Equivalent Too is a podcast for minorities in STEM. Its a place to discuss issues faced by those who are under represented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, whether that be for reasons of gender, race, socio-economic background, neurodiversity, physical ability. All are welcome to normalise the barriers encountered by being differences, so that we can indeed make a positive difference through our differences.

In this weeks episode: My guest infects me with the positivity bug, as she raves on about her insaitable love of learning. Being an oblivious kid, she was always clueless about being in a minority as a female in physics. I suspect she had a huge amount of encouragement and support from friends and family to follow her passions. As a result, she built up healthy levels of self-confidence and courage to ask questions and find out more. Knowing that people-pleasing gets her nowhere and failure is useful!
