Tuesday May 04, 2021
Tuesday May 04, 2021
The amount of times I hear people in minority groups, apologising for their existence! I used to be the same. In this podcast, I break down why people who are somewhat unconventional, feel the need to say sorry for just being. Together with some perspectives from Women in STEM, I try to figure out a new attitude for owning who we are, however different we may be.

Tuesday Apr 13, 2021
Tuesday Apr 13, 2021
Hard work gets you everywhere, in fact, I think the ability to work hard is a super power. On this week's episode we hear different perspectives on this topic from successful badass women in STEM. In my opinion, it's not enough to just have talent, you have to put the effort and time in to develop your craft. I haven't met a single person who became successful without having to put the work in! Laziness isn't esteem-able either!

Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
On this week's episode I discuss the importance of breathing. For me, breathing is the one thing I pay least attention to when I am stressed or anxious. But in regulating our breathing and taking time out to breathe deeply, we can truly connect our hearts and minds once again and feel fully resent. It's a simple practice, yet so empowering, for remembering the importance things in life!

Innervation 39: Passion
Tuesday Mar 16, 2021
Tuesday Mar 16, 2021
What are your passions? That's a question that I was asked a lot in meetings with TV broadcasters in my early days. Back then, I have to confess that I had no clue. I had many interests and ambitions, but no idea of what my passions were. So concentrated on developing my IQ, rather than my EQ. Since then, I've focussed in on discovering my passions and it's led to a life full of meaning and purpose and ultimately fulfilment. This week, I discuss passion - what it is, what it feels like and why it's essential for living a gratifying life.

Innervation 38: Surviving and Thriving
Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
There's a massive difference between doing the things you need to do in order to survive and thriving. People in minority groups are usually just surviving, even if they have all the same resources, they are also dealing with other discriminations.. I definitely got to a point where I was sick of just surviving - I had worked hard, I felt I deserved more. We hear from women in STEM about their perspectives on thriving. Thriving is easier than it seems, its all about self-belief.
